PACE

The Property and Casualty Coverage for Education trust (PACE) is a self-insured risk pool program of the Oregon School Boards Association, made up of Oregon School Districts, Community Colleges, Education Service Districts and Charter Schools. PACE was formed in 2006 with the goal of providing Property, Equipment Breakdown, Comprehensive Liability (including Employment Practices), Auto and Crime Coverage to more than 300 members. PACE is NOT an insurance company; rather, PACE is a risk-sharing pool in which members collectively self-insure their exposures through an intergovernmental agreement.
