Special Olympics is a non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic-style sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics also hosts Unified Champion Schools, which is an educations based strategy that brings together students with and without intellectual disabilities in three core areas: Unified Sports, Inclusive Youth Leadership and Whole-School Inclusion Activities to foster inclusion and acceptance throughout their school building.
