MEMBER: Vouchers Amp Feature


Purpose: To allow FinalForms Admins the ability to create voucher/discount codes that members can use when they checkout.

How to: 
NOTE: You need to create your voucher code first. Once you do that, then you can promote your voucher code on a website, email, social media, etc. for members to use.

  1. Start under Manage-Member Vouchers to create a voucher code using the blue “New Member Voucher” button

2. Put a name, description, and code name in of the Voucher and press the blue “Create” button. You may also choose if you want the code to be used only one time per one member, or multiple times per one member. For this example, we will choose “One Time” under Type.

3. Once you have named your voucher and code, you will need to edit it in order to add in pricing/discount of the voucher.

4. Click the black “Add Product” button in order to add in pricing.

Once on the edit screen, this is where you will add in the specifications of the discount. To mark something as a discount, you will need to add a minus in front of the price, as shown below “-$100”. 

You may customize your voucher code to be a “One Time” or “Recurring” voucher. You may also set a cap on the amount of members that can use the voucher, and add a description.

NOTE: You must add a “product” in order to have the discount work for whatever event/membership benefit you are trying to discount. Please see below circled in red. For this conference discount, we made sure to add the discount for only “Regular” Member’s Conference Fees.

Once complete, you can press the blue create button at the bottom to create your voucher.

5. You are all set! You may now have members use your discount code, where they can go in at their checkout page and use the voucher code you created. You can promote your voucher code on a website, email, social media, etc. for members to use.

NOTE: The biggest issue that a member may experience is when they put the code in, no discount is applied. That is most likely due to the wrong "Product" above is on the voucher. You may need to add in another product for your voucher to work correctly. If you experience issues with your vouchers, contact FinalForms Support.

Conclusion: This feature update allows FinalForms Admins and association members a convenient way to use discounts when checking out. This is especially good for an early pricing special, first time members, or any other promotional times of the year that you want to grant to your membership.
