MEMBER: Transferring Memberships Amp Feature

Purpose: To allow FinalForms Admins the ability to transfer a membership from one member to another.

How to:
NOTE: This new feature will help association admins to transfer memberships from one current member to one member who doesn't have a current membership yet. Transferring membership will cause the selected member to lose their membership status and it will be transferred a new member. In dual states, transferring state membership will also transfer membership in NIAAA.

1. Go to Manage-Members. Find the member who you want to transfer a membership to. Click on the member's name and go to the Administrative dropdown. Click "Transfer Membership" In this example, Nick does not have a current membership yet.

2. In the dropdown, type in the person you want to transfer membership from and to. In this instance, we are transferring Julie's membership to Nick's membership. Press the blue "Transfer Membership" button.

Note: Make sure both members are apart of the same school!

3. Once you transfer membership, you're good to go! Go back to Manage-Members to check on the memberships. Nick now has an active membership and Julie does not. In some instances, you may want to archive the old member's account to keep accurate records in your database.

Conclusion: This new feature update allows FinalForms Admins a convenient way to transfer memberships from one member to another in their association. This is extremely helpful if your association allows memberships to be transferred mid-year, or if somebody steps down during a school year.
