Purpose: To allow FinalForms Admins the ability to sort by custom fees that they manually create, and check to see if the custom fees are outstanding, paid, etc.
How to:
NOTE: It is extremely important to use the same name when creating a custom fee so you can sort by those fees later if you plan to use the same fee names for multiple members. It is recommended to start your custom fee with the date, which helps with organization from year to year.
1. Go to Manage-Members (or Vendors) Pull up any member that you want to create the custom fee for. Click on the dollar sign to the left of their name, and the white "Add Custom Fee" button.
Once the custom fee window comes up, name your custom fee something specific that you can reference.
NOTE: If you want to make a custom discount instead of a fee, you need to add a negative sign "-" in front of the $250 that is below. "-$250" to make a discount instead of a fee charge.

2. Once you create your custom fee, click the blue "Create Fee" button and the fee will now be applied to the member's account.

3. Proceed to add the same named fee to other members, if you choose. After you have added all your fees, go to Manage-Member Charges (or Vendor Charges). Once on the page, in the sort field, type in the name of the fee. "2024-2025 OIAAA Custom Fee" You will then see a live report of anybody who has the fee outstanding or paid. This is good for tracking members with the same fees. You can use this method to even sort by regular fees, not just custom fees.
Manage-Member Charges
Conclusion: This feature allows FinalForms Admins a convenient way to add fees and be able to sort by who has the same fee. This is extremely good with examples like: member discounts, vendor sponsorships, ad-hoc member fees/discounts, or simply tracking from year to year how many custom fees you are utilizing.
